English speaking group
In all aspects of life, we experience an oppressive reality: The political and social crisis is emerging as a consequence of capitalism. Police violence and oppression are on the rise, the first victims being those who fight for their rights and support humanitarian ideals, take part in solidarity movements and self-organize for autonomy.
As thinking people, we want and, given the current situation, consider it necessary to take a stand in the international struggle by acting on a local level. Motivated by political imperatives that demand clear positions, driven by our emotions and dignity, we believe that radical speech and action should be encouraged.
From our experience we have observed that there is a lack of an English-speaking group which could be involved in collective political procedures. For this reason, we would like to call on people who consider themselves anti-authoritarians, anti-capitalists and anti-fascists to mobilize and form a participative initiative.
Let us all meet on Sunday 18th of November at 18:30 at MKZ (1e Schinkelstraat 14-16, Amsterdam, Tram 2 stop Amstelveenseweg, Tram 1 stop Overtoomse Sluis) and join our individual struggles.
This initiative aims to inspire the fomation of more such groups in cities across the Netherlands as well as Europe. Cooperation with other like-minded people and groups that are already active is both important and welcome.
We are willing to get in touch with people/groups that are already active and share similar viewpoints; contact us by email at eatps (at) riseup.net.
