They will return next week and on this night (the 29th of November) they will give information about the situation there and share their experiences. More information to come but there's not much contact with our friends in France so we're not entirely sure with the setup of this night will be.

some information about the ZAD protest site:
The ZAD is an airport protest site in the west of France about 20 km north of Nantes. The airport project was first proposed over forty years ago and has faced constant local resistance ever since. In 2009 the area hosted a climate camp, since when the empty houses, fields and forests have been gradually filling up with people that are resisting this project and are united by an idea that fighting
capitalism is not just theoretical but something to live in practice every day.
On Tuesday, October 16th an eviction offensive of the area started. 1,200 policemen invaded the 1,800 hectares of the ZAD. They gradually attacked occupied houses and huts, destroying them and leaving nothing that could be used to rebuild. Occupiers and all those who joined them on the spot resisted, barricaded, reoccupied.
While most homes have already been evicted as well
as some huts, many other occupiers remain in the woods, in the fields, in the trees. New constructions are already underway.
The struggle continues for the people of the ZAD, and they welcome the support of those as disillusioned as them with the multinational company planning to build the airport (Vinci), the state, and the and the control on their every day lives. It’s far from over, this is just the beginning.
Ayrault, Vinci and others – the message is clear : Fuck off the land!
