Russia; eviction of monumental train station Warsaw

Russia,Petersburg-eviction of squatted part of old train-station yesterday. the building was squatted 1st of January in order to protect the hole station against illegal destroying, which had been started last year and going to be carried out very soon. we managed to make few exhibitions, parties, discos and even skating-rink there but it was not enough for local government to leave us there as a social center.

4 februari to the place came security and they started demolishing one of the inside walls of the building. After a confrontation with the squatters they called the cops. Some of the activists barricated themselves to parts of the building. The rest created a human chain in front of the door. After six hours polica attacked the place. 19 people got arrested a couple of them need to be hospitalized. 3 people are being sued for attacking a policeman. 2 police officers have been hurt.
