26th May ASEED Café - Bees and Flowers
This Sunday 26th of May the ASEED cafe is all about bees and flowers. The day after the entire world has been protesting against the agro-giant Monsanto, you can chill out and recover at the Dokgallery.
The use of agressive chemical pesticides by farmers and gardeners, have caused the dying of bees on a massive scale.
After agro-giants like Monsanto, Bayer and Syngenta have been causing this deadly catastrophe by their unsustainable approach, now Monsanto wants to 'address' this problem by genetically modifying bees.
Beekeeper Geert van Kerckhove from Bee Care will come and tell more about urban beekeeping at 5pm.
At 8 we will screen Queen of the Sun, for everyone who hasn´t seen this beautiful movie yet.
