Workshop/discussion on things immigrants/refugees see in their lifes. Immigrantophobia, exoticization, racism, objectivization, exclusion, poverty stigma, orientalism and so on. We'd like to create a safe space for discussing this issues!
We'll talk about how our places of origin, social background and stereotypes influence relations to us and vice versa. How much it matters even if a person says that it doesn't. How difficult to 'integrate' in a rich wealthy (anarchist) community. How much socialization is deeper that anarchist views. How exotic you're for others, how difficult for them to 'unsee' it, and is it possible anyways?
Immigrants, refugees, PoC and people of non-western european origin/background most welcome!
