Info workshops AAGU/No child to the side at Alerta Alerta

Little is known about it, but over a thousand refugee children and their parents live in so-called 'family locations' in the Netherlands, under the constant threat of forced return: weekly, several families are taken by the border police before dawn, transferred to the family prison at Kamp Zeist and deported to their countries of origin.
Arrests, detention, forced return and the disappearance of their peers and friends: all of these are extremely traumatizing experiences for the children and the adolescents at the family locations.
'Geen kind aan de kant!' (No child on the side!) is campaigning together with the refugees at the family locations for an honest and unconditional Children's Amnesty Regulation (the 'Kinderpardon') and the stopping of arrests, detention and forced return. The AAGU has been campaigning against the construction of the family prison at Kamp Zeist.
On Saturday the 7th of May there will be a combined info event on both campaigns and soli tours, during the Alerta Alerta Festival at LAG (Bollox/OCCII) starting at 2pm.
