We anounce actions against the racist stereotypes in Themepark Efteling te Kaatsheuvel
Dear managing board from Stichting Natuurpark de Efteling,
Your park has several offensive and extremely racist rides with obvious oppressive stereotypes, with which you’ve entertained and indoctrinated children. The rides that we are referring to are ‘Monsieur Cannibale’ and ‘Carnaval Festival’.
The stereotyping within these attractions is focused around gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. They aren't only role-reinforcing and polarizing but they’re a part of systematic oppression such as racism, sexism and heterosexualism/queerphobia. We, Action Group Stop Oppressive Stereotypes (SOS), find it extremely troubling when children are being indoctrinated with these kinds of stereotypes since children are easily influenced and they should be protected from these kinds of negative images, or even the faintest scent of them. This is because the staircase of oppression starts with stereotypes and can eventually end in genocide.

Since your park attracts more than 4 million visitors annually, of whom most are children, we conclude that you have a large influence when it comes to maintaining racism and polarizing ethnic groups such as the African and Asian diaspora’s. You claim that you are focused on giving children a joyful experience, while actually; you exclude non-white children by ridiculing them and reducing them to stereotypes. The worst of all is that while building these rides you already knew they were racist, as written in this article on your own website.

We, Action Group Stop Oppressive Stereotypes, are calling on your foundation to stop indoctrinating children with oppressive stereotypes and to remove all forms of these disgusting racist images from the public spaces within your park. We are hoping that you realize that morally the fight against systematic oppressions is more important than generating large profits. However, if you don't remove all of the racial stereotypical images from the public spaces within your park, we will start actions against your park and these racist stereotypes.
Sincerely,
Action Group Stop Oppressive Stereotypes.
