A national debate has been sparked in the Netherlands concerning the Efteling Theme Park Resort attractions 'Monsieur Cannibalel' and 'Carnival Festival'. Action group Stop Oppressive Stereotypes (SOS) believes that the rides overemphasis negative ethnic stereotypes which in turn indoctrinate children with a skewed view of society.
