Some impressions of the general strike in barcelona from 29th of march.

here a translation of a call out poster that i found in the streets the days before the strike:

What is a general strike?

It is the interruption of the normal funtionment of the system.
It is the blockage of the market flux and that of some people.
It is the sabotage of the gear that the system possesses for the continuation of its functionment.
It is the attack on the responsibles for our oppression.
It is to confront us with the defenders and the false critiques of the current paradigm.
It is to struggle in our everyday lives (i.e. neighbourhoods, work, school).
It is to go out in the streets and to share the little that is left: the rage, the bread, the dreams.
It is to make use of the whole arsenal of tools that the whole history of the oppressed makes us available.
A general strike can only be wild, everything else is a parody of the same old.
Having said that, to the streets on 29th of March!
