The new government of Greece is led by a top banker and includes extreme right-wing extremists as ministers. It is supported by the socialist PASOK, the conservative ND and the extremist right party LAOS. This is the short biography of the new Transport Minister of Greece, Makis Voridis.
Meet the new Minister of Transport of Greece, right-wing extremist Makis Voridis (the man holding the ax in the photo). His short cv: as a high-school student at the American College of Athens (!) he has been a leader of the nationalistic organization 'Free Students'. When he entered the Law School in 1983, he became leader of the nationalistic organization 'Alternative Students'. As a leader of these group, his membership of the student union was cancelled in 1985 due to his participation in fascist attacks against fellow students (see photo). One year later, the national students' union EFEE filed a lawsuit against him for this issue. He has appointed as secretary of the right-wing extremist party EPEN (the founder of this party was the imprisoned leader of the 1967-1974 dictatoship, G. Papadopoulos... The dictator remained leader of the party till 1990). In 1994, together with 200 other nationalists, he formed the National Front. Later he joined the right-wing extremist party LAOS and he was elected MP in 2007. On 11-11-2011, he becomes minister of transport in the government of the top-banker L. Papademos that enjoys the support of socialist PASOK, conservative ND and the the right-wing extremists of LAOS.
