Waar een wil is is een weg, De voormalige pizzaria pino op de hereweg is het oudste huis van de straat en staat alweer bijna 30 jaar op de slooplijst.
En nu, anno 2016 is het een broedplaats van creatieve, vrije en open geesten.
Door dat het gekraakt is en het hier niet draait om economische winst maken is de drempel erg laag om hier iets te ondernemen of te organiseren en merken we dat veel mensen hier gebruik van maken. Een paar voorbeelden:

- Aan onze vergadertafel is de ' March against monsanto' gepland
- Er was een benefietavond voor een Sportleraar die geld inzamelde voor kinderen in Kenia
- Doordat ons podium voor ALLE soorten muziek openstaat krijgen we verassende acts binnen, Internationaal maar vooral ook lokaal. Bijna elke week is er live muziek. Zo was er eens een Noors duo die muziek maakte met een krat bier en een loop-machine en was het eerste optreden van Groningse band De Kat ook in de Pino. Verder doen we mee met het festival PleuropSonic, tijdens Eurosonic, wat veel publiek trekt.

Maar we doen meer dan muziek. Zo hebben we elke dinsdag filmavond (vaak ook met een politieke boodschap). Elke donderdag hebben we sinds kort vanaf 16:00uur de Barrelbak (fietsenwerkplaats) en daarna spelletjes cafe.
Elke zondag hebben we eethuisje de Kale Kip (met vega eten zo dat altijd iedereen kan aanschuiven)

Dus teken de petitie, nodig je vrienden en familie uit dit ook te doen (als zij ook vinden dat we moeten blijven). en als het even kan spreek stad bestuurders er op aan dat de Pino te bizonder is om te slopen.

Pino Got too stay!
Where there is a will, there is a way. The former pizzaria Pino, at the Hereweg in Groningen is the oldest house in the street and has been on the demolition list for almost 30 years.
Now, 2016, it is the home for creative, free spirits.
Because the place is squatted and it's interest is not economical profit, it makes it easier for people to get involved and organise something here. We notice that this activates lots op people! A few examples of activities that have taken place at Pino:
- the March against Monsanto was planned at our table
- we had a benefit evening for a teacher who was raising money for children in Kenia
- because our stage is open to all kinds of music, we get lots of surprising acts. International, but also a lot of local musicians. Almost every week we host live music here. Once we had a Norwegian duo that made music with a beer crate and a loop machine and we also hosted the very first concert of De Kat, a band from Groningen. The Pino is also part of the festival PleuropSonic, during Eurosonic, which attracts a lot of people every year.

But we do more then host music! Every tuesday we have movienight (usually the movie has a political meaning). Shortly ago we began with de Barrelbar (workplace for bikes) very thursday from 16:00 and after this it's ' game cafe', where people play old fashioned board games.
Every sunday we have eat cafe de Kale Kip, that makes delicious 3 course vegan dinners, suitable for everyone.
