Hier kun je discussieren over 8th march - strike, boycott and sabotage.
Regardless of the specific events codified as 'International Women's Day', the 8th of March is a day to honor and partake in transnational feminist resistance. It's a day that aligns itself with exceptional and everyday acts of disruption, care, resistance and revolution across history and different geographies. It is a day for women destroying Israeli tanks and rioting inside Tehran's Evin prison for the release of Verisheh Moradi. The 8th of March is also a day for trans sex workers destroying the halls of the judicial buildings in Mexico City against the legal enabling of transphobic violence.

Despite its historical weight, the 8th of march is not to be celebrated as an institutional occasion for remembrance of 'harder times' or acclaim current 'female' capitalistic wins. It must be a day of lived struggle - a day to recall our collective capacity for fury and revolt. We're mobilizing against the escalating climate of war, the increasingly uneven distribution of wealth, against the rise of fascism and the feeling of helplessness that is manufactured to inhibit our resistance, against the annihilation of our lived environment and the indigenous lives that safeguard it. We're calling for the recognition that these all are feminist issues, as they immediately and especially threaten the precarious lives of feminized, gender-disobedient and queer people.

Likewise, we disalign with people appropriating feminism to justify their whorephobic and transphobic agenda. Sex workers and queers of all flavors have always been at the forefront of our collective struggle for  liberation.

To combat the illusion that feminist liberation has been achieved in the Netherlands, this 8th of March we call everyone to rise up against
- the continuous invisibilization of femicide
- workplace abuse and harrassment, too commonplace for instance in sectors like horeca, housekeeping, delivery and nightlife. Historically the 8th of March is a day of strike. While this is certainly still necessary in this country, the process of striking itself has been bureaucratized to an impossible degree and most of us find ourselves isolated without the possibility of broader workplace organizing or union protection.
- the rampant neoliberalization of our cities, owned by a few and inaccessible to most. Most of Amsterdam housing is owned by either rich landlords whose ancestors got rich through the VOC, or private companies, among which Blackstone, reponsible not only for the housing crisis in Europe, but for the destruction of the Amazon rainforest, providing tech to the Zionist entity as well as to US border surveillance.
- the displacement of sex workers from the city centre to an erotic centre to be built in zuid
- the red-lining of companies like Focum that design neighborhoods like Bijlmer as not reliable for credit
- the countless ways, made visible by the Toeslag affair, in which Dutch bureucracy targets immigrants with fines
- the decision to halt the asylum process of Syrians and the continouous tightening of asylum and residency regulations.

This list is by no means comprehensive. Probably each one of you reading this list hold the embodied knowledge of the countless ways in which the dutch state and institutions reproduce oppressive structures.

We believe that true liberation from patriarchal violence cannot happen within a capitalist system. Our hope for a non-exploitative and joyful world is the primary tool to dismantle authoritarian and hierarchical regimes ; and the practice of direct action is necessary to bring them about. We strongly reject the liberal, girlboss white feminism that runs rampant in this country, thanks to the vicious cooptation of our struggle by industries and by the state. Capitalism silences resistance by creating the illusion that our resistance is obsolete. Our feminism is intersectional, transnational and anti-imperialist. It grows from the recognition of the shapeshifting of oppression through countless axes of domination, and of our inevitable participation in such dynamics. It refuses to give in to complacency and to sell out to the system: illegitimate, unpolished and impolite.

We call on everyone to take to the streets on the 8th of March. Get angry and organize. Strike, boycott and sabotage.

8 maart is al meer dan een eeuw een belangrijke datum en de geschiedenis gaat vaak terug tot de staking van textielarbeidsters in New York in 1908. Velen herinneren zich ook de Internationale Socialistische Vrouwenconferentie in 1910. In Nederland hielden feministes op 12 mei 1912 de Eerste Internationale Vrouwendag. Ze eisten stopzetting van WO I, kiesrecht voor vrouwen en legalisering van abortus. Deze demonstraties werden georganiseerd door de sociaal-democratische 'Vrouwenclubs' die een proletarisch vrouwenblad publiceerden.

Ongeacht de specifieke gebeurtenissen die de naam 'Internationale Vrouwendag' dragen, is 8 maart een dag om transnationaal feministisch verzet te eren en eraan deel te nemen. Het is een dag die in het teken staat van uitzonderlijke en alledaagse daden van ontwrichting, zorg, verzet en revolutie door de geschiedenis heen en in verschillende geografische gebieden. Het is een dag waarop vrouwen Israëlische tanks vernielen en in opstand komen in de Evin-gevangenis in Teheran voor de vrijlating van Verisheh Moradi. 8 maart is ook een dag waarop transsekswerkers de zalen van de gerechtsgebouwen in Mexico-Stad vernielden tegen het wettelijk mogelijk maken van transfoob geweld.

Ondanks zijn historische gewicht mag 8 maart niet worden gevierd als een institutionele gelegenheid om 'hardere tijden' te herdenken of de huidige 'vrouwelijke' kapitalistische overwinningen te prijzen. Het moet een dag van doorleefde strijd zijn - een dag om onze collectieve capaciteit voor woede en opstand op te roepen. We mobiliseren ons tegen het escalerende oorlogsklimaat, de steeds ongelijkere verdeling van rijkdom, tegen de opkomst van het fascisme en het gevoel van hulpeloosheid dat wordt gecreëerd om ons verzet te remmen, tegen de vernietiging van onze leefomgeving en de inheemse levens die deze beschermen. We vragen om de erkenning dat dit allemaal feministische kwesties zijn, omdat ze onmiddellijk en vooral het precaire leven bedreigen van gefeminiseerde, genderonafhankelijke en queer mensen.

Op dezelfde manier distantiëren we ons van mensen die zich het feminisme toe-eigenen om hun hoeren- en transfobische agenda te rechtvaardigen. Sekswerkers en homo's van alle smaken hebben altijd voorop gelopen in onze collectieve strijd voor bevrijding.

Om de illusie te bestrijden dat feministische bevrijding in Nederland is bereikt, roepen we op 8 maart iedereen op om in opstand te komen tegen
- de voortdurende onzichtbaarheid van vrouwenmoorden
- mishandeling en intimidatie op de werkvloer, te veel voorkomend in bijvoorbeeld de horeca, huishouding, bezorging en het uitgaansleven. Historisch gezien is 8 maart een stakingsdag. Hoewel dit zeker nog nodig is in dit land, is het stakingsproces zelf tot een onmogelijke graad gebureaucratiseerd en bevinden de meesten van ons zich geïsoleerd zonder de mogelijkheid van bredere organisatie op de werkplek of bescherming van de vakbond.

- de ongebreidelde neoliberalisering van onze steden, eigendom van enkelen en ontoegankelijk voor de meesten. De meeste woningen in Amsterdam zijn eigendom van rijke huisbazen wiens voorouders rijk zijn geworden door de VOC, of van particuliere bedrijven, waaronder Blackstone, dat niet alleen verantwoordelijk is voor de huizencrisis in Europa, maar ook voor de vernietiging van het regenwoud in de Amazone en dat technologie levert aan de zionistische entiteit en aan de grensbewaking van de VS.
- de verplaatsing van sekswerkers van het stadscentrum naar een erotisch centrum dat in zuid zal worden gebouwd
- de red-lining van bedrijven als Focum die wijken als de Bijlmer als onbetrouwbaar voor krediet aanmerken
- de talloze manieren, zichtbaar gemaakt door de Toeslag-affaire, waarop de Nederlandse bureaucratie allochtonen met boetes aanpakt
- het besluit om het asielproces van Syriërs stop te zetten en de voortdurende aanscherping van asiel- en verblijfsregels.

Deze lijst is zeker niet volledig. Waarschijnlijk heeft ieder van jullie die deze lijst leest de belichaamde kennis van de talloze manieren waarop de Nederlandse staat en instellingen onderdrukkende structuren reproduceren.

Wij geloven dat echte bevrijding van patriarchaal geweld niet mogelijk is binnen ons kapitalistisch systeem. Onze hoop op een niet-uitbuitende en vreugdevolle wereld is het belangrijkste instrument om autoritaire en hiërarchische regimes af te breken; en de praktijk van directe actie is noodzakelijk om deze te bewerkstelligen. Wij verwerpen ten zeerste het liberale, witte feminisme van de girlboss dat in dit land heerst, dankzij de wrede coöptatie van onze strijd door de industrie en de staat. Het kapitalisme legt het verzet het zwijgen op door de illusie te wekken dat ons verzet achterhaald is. Ons feminisme is intersectioneel, transnationaal en anti-imperialistisch. Het groeit uit de erkenning van de gedaanteverwisseling van onderdrukking door talloze assen van overheersing en van onze onvermijdelijke deelname aan deze dynamiek. Het weigert toe te geven aan zelfgenoegzaamheid en zich uit te leveren aan het systeem: onwettig, ongepolijst en onbeleefd.

We roepen iedereen op om op 8 maart de straat op te gaan. Word boos en organiseer je. Staak, boycot en saboteer.
