Send Dutch Rail a message! PPP - 07.01.2002 02:29
If you used the Dutch Rail regulary using Netscape, Opera or Konquerror, you probably noticed by now that you can´t visit that site anymore using any of these webbrowsers. Dutch Rail announced lately that they are trying to find a solution for this, and that they hope to have the site back online for Netscape users within one month. Are we going to give them that one month? I see this as the same thing that happened last year. And two years ago. Dutch Rail wanted more trains for more passengers. They expanded the schedule, although they didn´t have enough trains yet. With as result that not every train was there when passengers were waiting. Dutch Rail invented the ´ring around the church´, which required almost twice as much employers as before, while they already had a short. Result: even more trains canceled. Now, they build a new website and publish it before it´s actually done. With as result that half of the visitors can´t visit it. When they started putting trains in their schedual that they didn´t have yet, they promised those trains would be there in the end of 2001/beginning 2002. Did we give them the time for that? Ofcourse not, they should have waited with putting those trains in the schedual untill they actually had those trains. Are we going to give them that month time now? Ofcourse not, they should have waited with publishing their new website untill it´s done and accessable for everybody! So surf to http://borft.student.utwente.nl/~mike/ns_eng.php and send that message! By the way, on www.dutchrail.sucks.nl you can find information on how to get a refund if your train was delayed for more than 30 minutes. ;) Website: http://www.dutchrail.sucks.nl/ |
