Reactie uit Australie nav van het "Aleternatief voor Kyoto"
"The Australia-US Climate Action Partnership (CAP) is a smokescreen for Australian government inaction on climate change," ACF climate change campaigner Sarojini Krishnapillai said today. (the Australian Conservation Foundation)
She said one of the greatest insults in the partnership was the claim the US and Australia would help developing nations monitor climate impacts - in some of the countries most vulnerable to extreme weather events - instead of cutting greenhouse pollution which caused those events.
