free film night and vegan eetcafe at the poortgebouw, rotterdam, sunday september 10, 2006. 7-12 pm.
five years ago, the bombings of the pentagon and the twin towers of world trade centre changed the political climate in the united states of america and thus in the rest of the world. for the first time since pearl harbour, americans felt under attack. bush pushed through the homeland security act and the patritot acts 1 and 2. other countries soon followed suit with their own repressive measures. afghanistan was invaded, then iraq. osama bin laden became world famous.
but what really happened? do you believe the official story?
come to the film night with an open mind. we will watch films which raise some pertinent questions, such as the following:
do you believe that muslim terrorists were responsible for the hijacking of the aeroplanes? why then are some of the hijackers still alive?
