You are invited to join the first Techno-Activism Third Mondays (TA3M) of 2014! TA3M is an informal meetup for techno-activists, hacktivists and anyone interested in free and open technology. The event takes place in different cities around the globe every third Monday of the month

Program:

• Latest circumvention and censorship news with Tom Keunen of Protektor Services
• 30C3 Decompress, reliving some of the highlights of the congress and discussing their relevance.
• Jurre van Bergen on Hardening hardware and choosing a #goodBIOS -(Might have an demo).
• Ton Siedsma of Bits of Freedom will discuss Christopher Soghoian talk on Backdoors, Government Hacking and The Next Crypto Wars
• Fieke Jansen of Hivos (subject TBA)
• Rob van der Wouw of Eureka Unlimited on his experiences at the 30C3 and a surprise announcement.
• Next months plans; let us know if you want to organize or prepare next months TA3M!

TA3M is explicitly informal and open. Meaning that you are invited to hack the process, ask questions, and be critical. You are very welcome to join in if you have something you want to share or discuss.

We invite a diverse crowd from different communities developing or using technology for change. This months edition will be held at Bits of Freedom. TA3M is an initiative of OpenITP in New York. The TA3M in Amsterdam is organized by Greenhost who, among other stuff, develops RePress, Project Gulliver and SSHARK.
