The horrific attack on the French newspaper Charlie Hebdo demands a very clear signal that we do not want a world like this.
This evening we are marching for freedom and civilisation from the French consulate on the Vijzelgracht to the Dam. Please come too if you can and bring as many people with as you can.
We will meet at 6:00 pm at the Vijzelgracht. (parallel to the Vijzelstraat, almost at the Weteringcircuit tram 10 & 7)

The situation of Charlie is very complex to invite people to march under a blunt logo "I am Charlie".
Maybe the organisers can also elaborate on the reasons we should march for "freedom and civilisation"..
