. At the refugee detention centre at Schiphol last night the annual new years eve solidarity noise demonstration was attacked. After chats, fireworks and music the police blocked the road as protesters tried to leave seeking to find people who wrote messages on employee vehicles. This resulted in divisive negotiating tactics that led to a 2 hour stand off. Then they started arresting people as they tried to leave andbbegan kettling people, leaving them without access to heat, toilets and water. This situation as if now, 9:00 am, has not changed. People are forced to pee in front of soldiers, while 42 others are marched chain gang style under flood light surrounded by riot police and their vehicles to the detention centre. While another 60 are held in buses under arrest without reason.
