The Dutch immigration system murdered her. (in solidarity with transgender queer immigrant "Xingshun Zhou")
Today, February 26, 2021, my queer immigrant friend (Xingshun Zhou, born in 10/2/1997, in the city of Guandong, China) ended her life by throwing herself in front of a train in the village of echt( This is the information that I have until now, so such a information might change) . It is my duty to say that she was forced to move from China to the Netherlands, because of the systematic homophobic and sexist repression against LGBTQIA+ Community, to at least experience a life without such a systematic oppression. It should also be clarified that she was a girl (although she was born in the body of a so-called boy), so anyone who will write something about her must respect the identity of her as an queer transgender immigrant. She is not the only victim of the Dutch immigration system, but I as an non-binary and a member of the LGBTQIA + community, understand that in addition from the oppression of Dutch immigration system against immigrants, the sexism in the society was part of the hardship that she experienced in the life.
The very bad condition of the refugee camps in the Netherlands, which are practically modern prisons, along with the very long process of asylum for asylum seekers in the Netherlands, has left most immigrants with severe mental illness. This is the second suicide attempt in Camp Echt in the last few weeks. Of course, the number of suicides in the Netherlands is much higher, but the regime is preventing the spreading news about them.
In the case of Xingshun Zhou, I have two responsibilities, one of which is related to my personal relationship with her as a friend, and my second task, which I consider it more important and as a priority, is the fact that we are both part of the LGBTQIA + community:
I call to the LGBTQ + community and the resistance movement in the Netherlands to do solidarity actions against the Dutch immigration system.
2- All immigrants must receive legal documents.
3- All refugee camps must close, immigrants must be given the houses.
Tomorrow 26 February 2021, at 2pm, demonstration in front of the AZC(refugees camp) of echt, against the asylum system of Dutch regime. Address: Pepinusbrug 2, Echt.
