Today, we occupied the historic Kamerhof, a site that holds over 200 years of family history, now threatened by the expansion of the A2 between Vonderen and Kerensheiden. This project is not just about building a road; it represents a profound loss for beautiful nature and the environment.
Why We’re Here:
Stand in Solidarity: We stand with activists in the Philippines facing similar threats from Boskalis, who are destroying local communities for profit.
Devastating Impact on Nature: Many trees surrounding this beautiful farm have already been cut down for the expansion, leaving the once lush landscape looking sad and grey. This destruction not only impacts the aesthetic value but also the biodiversity of the area.
Say NO to Beaumix: This toxic mixture threatens our groundwater and poses serious health risks. Previous applications of Beaumix have led to environmental disasters and community displacement.
Protect History and stand in solidarity with the family: The planned demolition of Kamerhof means losing beautiful historic heritage from a super sweet family.
As we gather, we mourn the loss of trees that once framed Kamerhof in wonderfull greens and yellows, and we come together to protect what remains while advocating for sustainable alternatives. We Need YOU! Join us in this crucial fight for our future and to protect nature!
