Waar: Paradiso, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Wanneer: 29/03/2015 - 19:30
Sunday March 29, Atari Teenage Riot will be playing a show at the Paradiso Amsterdam to promote their new album 'Reset'. They'd like to grab this opportunity to make a statement against the growing racism in Germany and Europe as a whole.
Reset: does the future belong to us?
First our plan was just to play a few concerts to promote our new album. But with the rise of islamophobia and racism in Europe, and the rise of Pegida in Germany in particular, we feel have to make a clear statement.
Racism solves no problem, racism is the problem!
When racist politicians and neo-nazis become successful in using fear and hate to further their cause, we have no time to lose. Racism affects all of us!
Attending a concert is like attending a demonstration: you realize you are not alone!
So we urge everyone here to support the struggle against racism. To organize against or support those organizing against, Nazi groups and marches.
Spread the anti-racist message: stick stickers, paste posters, attend or organize anti-racist actions and call-out racist or xenophobic talk on social media!
It´s about more than just the music!
Do not allow the ideologies we despise to take over the world!
