We welcome you all to the November edition of Antifa Café: an afternoon and evening with antifascist folks. Antifa Café is an opportunity to meet other activists and to chat about what’s been going on and what will be going down with regards to antifascism in the netherlands.

The topic of this café is 'Mapping extreme right in the netherlands'.
Antifa Utrecht will provide a presentation/talk about the current
developments of fascist groups, individuals and organizations in the
netherlands. Since extreme right isn't always easy to grasp and
understand, we will try to give you a clear map of most fascist
activities that've been going on in the region. This knowledge might
come in handy on different levels: for the in-the-back-of-your-mind
awareness, during a demonstration, but also in daily life. Ofcourse
there will be time for discussion and questions.
On November 5th we also provide Anarchist Black Cross, an opportunity to write a note/letter/whatever to imprisoned antifascist comrades. Let's show our support to these imprisoned activists by writing letters/making art/writing postcards!
In the evening we will screen a movie together with Pasthéi. This time we will screen Liberatarias (1996). Libertarias is a movie about a women's anarchist group fighting at the front during the Spanish revolution. During the revolution it becomes clear that besides fighting the fascists, they also must fight patriarchy within the revolution. Speaking language Spanish, subtitels English.

ANTIFA CAFÉ OP 5 NOVEMBER 2017: EXTREEMRECHTS IN NEDERLAND IN KAART
GEBRACHT
We verwelkomen jullie op de november editie van Antifa Café: een
namiddag en avond met antifascististen. Antifa Café biedt de
mogelijkheid om andere activisten te ontmoeten en samen te praten ovewat er is gebeurd en wat er gaat gebeuren op het gebied van antifascisme
in nederland.
Het onderwerp van dit café is: 'Extreemrechts in nederland in kaart
gebracht'. Antifa Utrecht zal een presentatie/praatje geven over de
ontwikkelingen binnen extreemrechts. Aangezien extreemrechts niet altijd zo makkelijke te begrijpen en omvatten is, zullen wij een
presentatie/praatje geven om een duidelijk overzicht te bieden van de meeste fascistische activiteiten die in de regio plaatsvinden. Deze kennis kan goed van pas komen op verschillende niveaus: voor het in-je-achterhoofd bewustzijn, tijdens een demonstratie, maar ook in het dagelijks leven. Er zal natuurlijk ook plaats zijn voor een discussie en voor vragen.
Op 5 november bieden we ook weer Anarchist Black Cross aan; een
mogelijkheid om een berichtje/brief/whatever te schrijven naar een
gevangengenomen antifascistische kameraad. Laten we deze gevangengenomen activisten ondersteunen door een brief/kunstwerk/kaartje te maken!
's Avonds zullen we een film vertonen in samenwerking met Pasthéi. Het. Deze keer is de film Liberatarias (1996), deze gaat over een anarchistische vrouwen groep die vecht aan het front tijdens de spaanse revolutie. Tijdens de revolutie word het duidelijk dat ze zowel tegen de fascisten als tegen de mannelijke hierarchie in de revolutie moeten vechten. De gesproken taal is Spaans en de ondertiteling zal in het Engels zijn.
