3 Squats evicted in Athens by police under orders of the greek government!
During the dawn of Monday, March 12 2018, a repressive operation against three squats was held in Athens. GARE and Zaimis 11 in Exarchia and Matrozou 54 of Residential and Struggle Communinity of Koukaki. Matrozou's comrades gave a fight and tried to defend the squat with great courage but are now held captive in GADA (Police headquarters in Athens) and are charged with criminal offenses.
GARE and Matrozou 54 squats participated in the Interbalkan Solidarity Demonstration in Thessaloniki at March 10th 2018.
Some comrades got injured during their attempt to defend their squats against the riot cops and OPKE (criminal prevention unit), who under orders of the (self proclaimed) "left-wing" government, attacked the squats.
