The Anarchist Organisation Aachen invites you to an evening of
discussion, political discourse and hanging out with live music and a
warm meal.
The first edition of the anarchist meeting-point ZONA A will take place
in solidarity with Joke Kaviaar.
Joke is an activist from the Netherlands who is currently in detention,
being convicted of criticizing the racist status quo in the Netherlands
and in Europe in her texts.
We invited activists of the solidarity group for Joke, so they can tell
us what this racist status quo looks like and how the
ultra-authoritarian and structurally racist Dutch state takes action
against people who (try to) protest this injustice.
The talk will be held in English.
After the talk and discussion, we would like to end the evening with
nice live music. JR Bathoorn (Singer/Songwriter and accordionist from
the Netherlands), James ‘Bar’ Bowen (Folk-Punk-Singer and Songwriter
form England) and Eoghan Donegan (Punk-Singer and Songwriter from
Ireland) will be playing their sets for you.
There will be delicious vegan food.
Free admission! We appreciate donations to cover the expenses.
From now on we are planning to host the anarchist meeting point ZONA A
monthly to create a space for networking and discussion.
Not just for decided anarchists! But for all who are interested in or
want to get informed about the idea of a non-governmental and
anti-authoritarian form of society.
Partly, at the monthly event, there will be talks, movies, open
discussions, live music or similar. If you would like to participate
somehow, if you have an idea for a topic or if you are just interested
in our work, just contact us. We are open for people that take interest!
