Russian Oil Company seems to be shielded from EU sanctions
The Russian Oil company Lukoil is still economically active in the Netherlands with its petrol stations.

This company, under the directorate of mr. Vagit Alekperov, a personal friend of Putin and in Western Europe under CEO mr. Svyatoslav Smolyaninov
seems to be shielded from sanctions due to the fact that its subsidiary is not located inside Russia itself.
Dutch car owners still buy petrol at these stations thereby inadvertedly supporting Putin's war in Ukraine financially.
A boycott which was called for has led to nothing, because apparently the Dutch find it more important to fill their cars
with blood-gasoline than to take a bicycle or public transport to any destination.

Lukoil itself keeps stressing on how they are independent and apolitical. Fact is that they are not. They are directly linked to
supplying Russian Military vehicles with fuel as well as support the Russian Military Industrial complex with oil and gas.
That the Dutch Government so far has done nothing against these petrol stations still operating in the Netherlands (under Dutch franchise holders)
is a blatant disregard of international agreements and shows yet again how, to use a Dutch expression, the Dutch Government has butter on its head.
Their hypocrisy in this matter is staggering and frankly outright disgusting.
What the Dutch Government should do is close down these gas stations forthwith or expropriate them immediately as to prevent any more Euros flowing
into Putin's war machine.
Even in 2019 Lukoil was shielded from economic sanctions:

They first started buying petrol stations in 2012:

It should be very clear that this company has blood on its hands, the blood of innocent Ukrainian women and children who are dying in scores
under Russian relentless missile and cluster munitions attacks. (See Bellincat for proof of that).
Lukoil in 2020 signed a cooperation agreement with Rostec, a company which also has dealings with the Russian Military Industrial Complex.

The company now also has its bloody hands in the Mexican oil business:

That action should be taken against this company is clear, but which form it will take, if it at all will be taken remains completely unclear.
