After months of renovations, after so much sweat, tears and blood, the time has finally arrived for a GRAND OPENING! Let's celebrate this special day to mark the beginning of many more months and years to come!
We will have delicious vegan food, tours of the facilities on the ground floor, a foto exhibition, open kung fu lessons (from 16:00 to 18:00), poetry, storytelling, and a pedal-powered blender where you can harness the power of the bicycle to make your own smoothies.
And last but not least, there will be LIVE MUSIC in the evening, featuring the Bucket Boyz and Pan de Muerto!
The public space will serve as a non-commercial, counter-gentrification social-political center for Amsterdam Oost. To make this space both radical and radically inclusive, you are warmly invited to join us to organise events and activities from May onwards!
